JOIN US! Community Walk Highlights Importance of Frimley Fuel Allotments

Frimley, Surrey — Local residents are invited to take part in a guided community walk around the Frimley Fuel Allotments area this Sunday, bringing people together to experience first-hand the scale, character and value of this much-loved green space.

The walk, organised by Protect Frimley Fuel Allotments and led by local volunteer Claire Murray, will take place on Sunday from 10:00am to 11:30am, starting at Pine Ridge Golf Club car park.

Designed as an inclusive and informal event, the route follows an approximately two-mile circular loop, allowing participants to explore woodland, open land and well-used paths that form part of the wider Fuel Allotments area. The walk is open to all ages and abilities, with families, individuals and dog-walkers welcome.

A chance to see the land for yourself

The organisers say the aim of the walk is simple: to give people the opportunity to experience the area as it exists today, understand how it is used by the local community, and appreciate its role as accessible green space for walking, wellbeing and nature.

More than 60 people have already responded to the event, reflecting growing local interest in planning decisions affecting the area and a desire for greater awareness and transparency around proposed changes.
